Since 1961,“Tykie and the Grecian Keys” have entertained audiences worldwide with their great variety of dance tunes, that have proven themselves favorites. Inheriting this wonderful reputation from his father Tykie, Georgio continues in his father’s footsteps by completely satisfying dance loving people everywhere. The making of a great band is the result of great individual players and singers coming together, for an unforgettable, FUN time! The sum of "The Key's" musical abilities far exceed the total of each individual's talent! The Grecian Keys are made up of four extremely talented individuals, each bringing unique musical strengths with their love of Greek music. They magically and spontaneously generate the most awesome dance music.
The Little Aegean Dance Troupe is comprised of children in K- 5th grade. They will be performing dances from all regions of Greece. Some of their signature dances include the Kalamatiano, Koftos, Karagouna, Zonaradikos, and Zembekiko.
The Junior Hellenic Dance Troupe is comprised of children in 6th - 12th grade. They will be performing a suite of dances from the islands of Crete, Kephalonia, and various dances from the mainland of Greece. Some of the dances that they will be performing are the Cretan Syrto, Pentozalis, Sousta, and Laziotis.
The Hellenic Dance Troupe is comprised of young adults college aged through 35. They will be performing a suite of dances from the Thraki, Crete, Corfu, Macedonia, Cyprus, Epirus, Mitilini, & Pondos.
